Job summary

Northern Kentucky University’s School of Allied Health invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in the online accelerated Master of Science in Health Administration program. The role is a 9-month appointment with potential summer teaching opportunities, teaching online in accelerated 7-week sessions, and reporting to the Director of the School of Allied Health.

The candidate will contribute to teaching, scholarship, and service while leveraging healthcare management

Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in health administration/management, health policy, public health or related discipline.
• Evidence of at least 2 years effective teaching in accelerated and online courses.
• At least 3 years of experience as a leader/administrator in the healthcare industry.
• Preferred: online course development, internship capstone supervision, and involvement in professional associations.

Responsibilities

• Teaching online courses in healthcare systems, leadership, research methods, quality, and project management.
• Scholarship: develop and maintain a record of research and scholarly output.
• Service: participate in department, college, and university committee work and program development.
