Job summary

Indiana University Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering in Indianapolis invites applications for one full-time lecturer-track faculty position in the Department of Library and Information Science. The appointment will begin on August 1, 2027.

This 10-month appointment (August through May) is annually renewable, based upon satisfactory performance. Additional compensation is available for candidates interested in teaching during the summer months.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional experience in the information professions or LIS-related fields.
• Experience teaching effectively in an online environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate courses in the LIS department (typically four course sections per semester).
• Contribute to course and curriculum development.
• Contribute to the department, school and campus through service and initiatives.
