This is a remote online position. Italian Instructors residing in any country are invited to apply.
We are a premier, accredited online language school seeking passionate Italian language instructors to join our team for the 2026-27 school year.
At LanguageBird, we believe meaningful learning happens through strong relationships, engaging instruction, and a commitment to continuous growth. We value educators who take initiative, bring positive energy to their work, and create supportive learning environments where students feel challenged, connected, and empowered to succeed.
We offer Middle School and High School Italian Levels 1-6+, as well as tutoring, conversational, and test-preparation courses. Our curriculum is ACTFL-aligned, and we are textbook-free.
Rather than relying on traditional textbooks, we use ACTFL Can-Do Statements and real-world communication contexts to guide instruction. Our courses emphasize Project-Based Learning, meaningful communication, and authentic language use. We do not assess students through traditional assessments. Instead, instructors facilitate engaging learning experiences using a variety of digital tools and authentic resources and evaluate student growth through projects, participation, and performance-based assessments.
While we provide syllabi and some, instructional guidance and resources, instructors are encouraged to bring creativity, professional expertise, and instructional flexibility to their lessons to meet the unique needs of each learner.
If you are student-centered, creative, technologically confident, and passionate about helping learners build language proficiency through meaningful connections, you will fit right in.
Instructors onboarded for the 2026-2027 school year may begin teaching prior to the official start of the school year.
