Job summary

The University of Kansas Edwards Campus invites qualified scholars and professionals to submit applications for part-time Instructor positions in the HOPE program. Instructors teach online (synchronous and asynchronous) and must hold an advanced degree. Instructors report to the Program Director for HOPE.

The HOPE Master’s program aims to prepare leaders to align individual performance with organizational goals and drive team success across departments and roles.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution required.
• Three years of experience in continuous improvement, instructional design, human motivation, human performance, human resource recruiting, organizational communication, organizational development, organizational strategy, performance management, organizational systems, process improvement, or resource allocation.
• Two years of teaching experience (credit or professional development) in the same areas.

Responsibilities

• 100% Instructional Duties with online teaching (synchronous and asynchronous).
• Assess student work based on developed curricula aligned to defined competencies.
• Coach students on capstone organizational-based projects.
• Foster collaborative and interactive learning environments that encourage critical thinking.
