Job summary

Frisco ISD seeks an experienced online learning teacher to design and deliver engaging digital courses while monitoring student progress in the LMS and supporting student wellbeing. You will align instruction with TEKS, adapt to multiple modalities, and collaborate with staff to refine our online curriculum.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate, with PD in online instruction preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of subject(s) assigned and TEKS alignment.
• Experience with online/hybrid instruction methods and student engagement.
• Strong collaboration and data-driven decision making required.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple online courses with varied pacing and preparations.
• Plan lessons using diverse instructional strategies and modalities.
• Provide accommodations for learners with differences.
• Deliver instruction through synchronous and asynchronous tools.
• Support student progress with LMS analytics and timely feedback.
• Maintain a positive online learning community and classroom management.
• Reflect on curriculum and participate in course design and audits.
• Comply with TEA guidelines and district policies.
