You’ll need a valid Iowa teaching license with an endorsement for behavior disorders/learning disabilities, a strong understanding of progress monitoring, and a passion for meeting teens

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Iowa teaching license with endorsement for Behavior Disorders/Learning Disabilities (K-12 or 5-12).
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, specially designed instruction, progress monitoring, accommodations, and behavioral supports.
• Ability to connect with students, families, and coworkers.
• Experience with secondary students and online/hybrid learning a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engaging, online/hybrid specially designed instruction.
• Develop strong, compliant, and meaningful IEPs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction using data.
• Support attendance, engagement, organization, and independence.
• Address behavioral, social-emotional, and transition needs.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, mentors, paraeducators, and families.
• Guide students toward graduation paths and post-secondary goals.
