Stride, Inc. (Carolus Online Academy) is seeking a High School Math Teacher to deliver course content in a fully online environment. The role involves managing learning through the Stride LMS, supporting students and families, and collaborating with teachers to tailor instruction to individual needs.

The position is virtual with occasional travel for state testing and professional development. A Bachelor’s degree, active teaching license, and experience with online platforms are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and active state teaching license.
• Experience teaching online and in traditional classrooms.
• Experience using online learning platforms and technology.
• Ability to analyze and interpret numeric, tabular, and graphic student data.

Responsibilities

• Augments course content using appropriate tools under guidance from principal and coach.
• Maintains grade book and tracks student performance, alerts on concerns.
• Supports learning coaches/parents with technology and curriculum issues, troubleshooting in virtual classroom.
• Travels about 20% of the time for professional development and student testing.
