Job summary

ACCEL Schools seeks an online K–12 teacher to serve as the teacher of record, delivering live lessons and managing courses via the Learning Management System. The role emphasizes meeting state accountability goals and supporting student achievement in a virtual environment.

Expect travel for state testing and events a few times per year. Oklahoma residents are eligible, and candidates must hold a current state teaching license in the appropriate content area.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ experience teaching.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort in a growth‑focused coaching environment with frequent observations and feedback.
• Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes and supervise students when needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student needs.
• Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide feedback daily.
• Collaborate with Principal to generate Progress Reports for Students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet all students’ needs.
• Participate in planning and implementing non‑instructional activities and events.
