Job summary

American Career College is seeking an HSE Tutor to lead the High School Equivalency tutoring program at the HSE Academy. Under the supervision of the Lead Instructional Supervisor or Program Director, you will design study strategies and curriculum to aid students preparing for the HSE exam and serve as an accountability coach.

You will conduct daily tutoring sessions in math, reading, science, social studies and writing, track progress, maintain records, and provide individualized or group

• Conducts daily tutoring sessions in math, reading, science, social studies and writing for prospective students identified by the instructional team or self-identified by the student.
• Ensures the timely progress and planning reviews for tutoring HSE students and maintains comprehensive records pertaining to the progress of each student that is then communicated to the campus instructional team
• Tutors HSE students in group sessions or one on one in the content specific areas of the HSE examination
• Provides individualized tutoring and/or remedial instruction as needed or appointed

Job Summary

Reporting to the Lead Instructional Supervisor or Program Director, the HSE Tutor is responsible for the High School Equivalency (HSE) tutoring program and providing tutorial services for students seeking their HSE through the American Career College Educational Foundation at HSE Academy. Working alongside the campus HSE instructional team evaluates, plans, establishes study strategies and HSE curriculum for the student that will aid in the learning and comprehension of the course material. The HSE Tutor will also serve as an accountability coach.
