Job summary

Georgia Cyber Academy is seeking a licensed educator to deliver secondary grade content in a fully online environment. You will use a data-driven, student-centered instructional model and partner with families to support achievement.

You will adapt content for asynchronous and synchronous delivery, monitor progress, and participate in required professional activities. A valid GA teaching certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education is required.
• GA PSC Education Certificate is required.
• Gifted certification or endorsement for Honors/AP positions, if applicable.
• APSI training for AP positions is preferred.
• TKES/LKES credentials are desirable.
• Highly Qualified Teacher requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Deliver content through asynchronous and synchronous tools.
• Proctor state exams at testing sites as needed.
• Analyze student data to guide remediation and enrichment.
• Maintain timely grades and academic integrity in Canvas/IC.
• Engage families and students through regular communication.
• Participate in PLCs, professional development, and committees.
