Job summary

NEOMED invites applications for an Open Rank Faculty, Data Science position. Full-time non-tenure-track appointment at a rank commensurate with qualifications and experience in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related field.

Primary curricular and teaching responsibilities within the College of Graduate Studies (COGS) and providing statistical consulting to faculty engaged in health professions research within CTRI.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in AI, CS, Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
• Experience teaching AI, ML or statistical methods, online preferred.
• Understanding of AI applications for health professions.
• Experience with Python or R.
• Background in statistical consulting and data analysis.
• Minimum of three years of teaching undergraduate/graduate/medical students.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and service: contribute to graduate student education and fulfill teaching obligations; participate in committees; engage in professional organizations.
• Research: participate in scholarly activities, pursue extramural funding, publish papers, and contribute to department research goals.
• Other duties: perform additional duties as assigned.
