Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for online orders with freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to customers' cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup time.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety procedures, laws, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions in notes for each order.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
• Communicate with customers professionally via portable device.
• Retrieve orders from staging locations and load into customers' cars.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Follow substitution policies when items are out of stock.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item-location discrepancies to supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards and work well in a fast-paced environment.
