Job description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars upon pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Responsibly select and gather products for online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
2. Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' online orders.
3. Assemble orders, process payments, and deliver/load orders into customers’ vehicles at pickup.
4. Scan and bag items following standards while on the go.
5. Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
6. Meet/exceed customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
7. Adhere to food safety laws, company policies, and procedures.
8. Store products in optimal temperature zones, following order guidelines.
9. Follow directions carefully, including notes on orders.
10. Ensure all items are of high quality and freshness.
11. Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone.
12. Ensure order accuracy, retrieve, and load orders into customers’ vehicles.
13. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
14. Process orders through the POS system.
15. Handle out-of-stock items with appropriate substitutions per policy.
16. Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment.
17. Report discrepancies and equipment issues promptly.
18. Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
19. Assist in training new team members.
20. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
