Job Description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Work as an In-Store Grocery Shopper to select and gather products for online orders, focusing on efficiency and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for customer orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag items following all standards during order assembly.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded in terms of shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow all relevant laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Receive orders from the Order Selector and store items in appropriate temperature zones.
• Follow note instructions and ensure all items are fresh and of quality.
• Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone.
• Verify order accuracy and load orders into customers' vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
• Process orders through the POS system and handle substitutions appropriately.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, in warehouse or production environments, stocking shelves, or as a cashier.
