Job Description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars for pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Responsible for selecting and gathering products for online orders with attention to quality and efficiency.
2. Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
3. Assemble orders, process payments, and deliver/load orders into customers' cars for pickup.
4. Scan and bag orders following standards.
5. Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
6. Meet/exceed customer expectations regarding shopping experience, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
7. Follow all safety, legal, and company guidelines.
8. Store products in optimal conditions upon receipt.
9. Follow instructions provided in notes.
10. Ensure quality and freshness of all items.
11. Communicate professionally with customers via phone.
12. Ensure order accuracy and load orders into customers' vehicles.
13. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
14. Process orders through the POS system.
15. Handle out-of-stock items with substitutions per policy.
16. Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment.
17. Report discrepancies and equipment issues.
18. Perform opening/closing procedures.
19. Assist in training new team members.
20. Meet productivity standards.
21. Work effectively in a high-paced, stressful environment.
22. Manage conflicts professionally.
23. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
24. Follow directions and seek help when needed.
25. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
26. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent communication skills.

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, warehouse worker, stocker, or cashier.
