Job Description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders for customer pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values: respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Pick and gather products for online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag items following bagging standards while on the go.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow all applicable laws, food safety procedures, and company policies.
• Store products in optimal temperature zones upon receipt.
• Read and follow specific notes for orders.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items.
• Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone.
• Retrieve and verify order accuracy before loading into customers' cars.
• Provide a positive shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Follow policies for substitutions in case of out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, in a warehouse or production environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier.
