An established industry player is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to enhance the customer shopping experience. Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival for pick-up. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
The In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customers' online orders. The Online Grocery Pick-Up team is responsible for assembling orders, processing payments, and loading orders into customers' cars. The associate will scan and bag orders following all standards and communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness. Adhere to all relevant laws, food safety procedures, and company policies. Receive orders from the Order Selector, store products in appropriate temperature zones, and ensure order accuracy. Follow directions carefully and ensure the quality and freshness of all items.
Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone, respond to inquiries promptly, and load orders into customers' vehicles. Process orders through the POS system, handle substitutions appropriately, and maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment. Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
Perform opening and closing procedures, assist in training new team members, and meet productivity standards. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts constructively, and act with honesty and integrity. Follow directions, seek assistance when needed, and support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
