Job Description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, maintaining attention to freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars when they arrive for pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Responsibly select and gather products for online orders, ensuring freshness and quality.
2. Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
3. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival.
4. Scan and bag items following all standards during order assembly.
5. Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers during pickup.
6. Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
7. Follow all relevant laws, food safety procedures, and company policies.
8. Receive orders from the Order Selector and store items in appropriate temperature zones.
9. Follow notes and instructions for order fulfillment.
10. Ensure all items are of high quality and freshness.
11. Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone and respond promptly.
12. Retrieve and verify order accuracy before loading into customers' vehicles.
13. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
14. Process transactions through the POS system.
15. Determine appropriate substitutions for out-of-stock items according to policies.
16. Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment.
17. Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
18. Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
19. Assist in training new team members.
20. Achieve productivity standards and work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
21. Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.
22. Act with honesty and integrity regarding all information.
23. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
24. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
25. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, in warehouse or production environments, stocking shelves, or as a cashier.
