Job summary

ShopRite of Montgomery is seeking an Online Shopping Clerk to efficiently take customer orders from the ShopRite website, select items, bag, and prepare them for pickup or delivery. You will handle payments and communicate any issues to customers while maintaining a high standard of service.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work within a fast-paced store environment. Training emphasizes safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify products and accurately select items for customers.
• Consolidate and bag orders safely, prepare totes for pickup or delivery.
• Process payments (cash, credit, checks, EBT, etc.) and provide correct change.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and comply with all policies.
