Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Fire Science, Fire Protection Administration, Emergency Management, Public Safety Administration, Homeland Security, Occupational Safety, or closely related field.
• Professional experience in fire service, emergency services, emergency management, public safety, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach or train adult learners in professional, academic, or workforce settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to student success and inclusive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach online undergraduate Fire Science and Emergency Services courses in asynchronous format.
• Deliver engaging online instruction that promotes critical thinking and professional application.
• Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate course records including attendance and grades.
• Be available for student support through virtual office hours, email, and meetings.
• Adhere to institutional policies, procedures, and academic standards.
