University of New Hampshire is seeking a full-time faculty member for our Liberal Arts, Communication, and General Education Academic Center. The role leads the Credit for Prior Learning program and teaches in our general education program, developing evidence-informed assessment for non-traditional learning.

The position is non-tenure track with an admin and teaching mix; actual course load varies with responsibilities, and the work connects with statewide partners to build sustainable degree

Qualifications

• Master's degree and five or more years of experience in teaching, prior learning assessment, professional development or related fields is required.
• Documented project management experience.
• This role requires a commitment to teaching excellence and high level of student service.
• Strong online teaching experience and demonstrated expertise with credit for prior learning required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and scale assessment models across the University and statewide partners.
• Establish frameworks for portfolio assessment, exams, certifications, and civic/workforce training.
• Ensure credit is awarded for demonstrated learning in line with policy and standards.
• Map prior and ongoing learning to degree, certificate, and transfer pathways.
• Collaborate with faculty and leaders to review and document credit equivalencies.
• Lead online learning communities and provide training and technical assistance.
