Online English Tutor (Contract) — U.S. Elementary Schools

This position seeks passionate teachers who can deliver structured, high-quality online reading instruction to help K–6 students improve literacy skills.

Base pay range

$24.00/hr - $24.00/hr

This range is provided by Air Reading. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Teach reading classes via Zoom to groups of up to four students in 30- or 40-minute sessions.


• Be available during school and after-school hours; most classes are scheduled between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday.


• Follow a provided curriculum with clear lesson directions.


• Offer regular feedback on student progress and maintain a positive, supportive learning environment.

Student Levels

• Pre-K through 6th grade, with a particular focus on K–3 reading and phonics instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree or higher; degrees in education, English, or literacy-related fields are preferred.
