Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Elementary Physical Education teacher for the Highpoint Virtual Academy of Michigan (HVAM). You will deliver core PE content in an online environment and support students and learning coaches to reach established goals.

The role requires Michigan teaching certification with a PE endorsement, residency in Michigan, and the ability to work from home with periodic travel. Typical hours are 9-5, with a 40+ hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Requires Michigan Teaching Certification and PE endorsement.
• Must reside in Michigan and be able to clear a background check.
• Bachelor's degree with active teaching license in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous PE instruction.
• Monitor student progress via the LMS and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate with students and learning coaches/parents to support learning goals.
• Travel as needed for assessments and professional development.
