Job summary

The University of Arizona College of Nursing in Tucson invites qualified adjunct instructors to support its Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, including online offerings and clinical rotations.

As an adjunct instructor, you will collaborate with the DNP Program Director and Lead Faculty to deliver instruction, mentor students, and help ensure program outcomes. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Evidence of an Arizona RN license prior to first day of employment.
• Evidence of an APRN license prior to first day of employment.
• Two years of APRN certification and experience.
• One year teaching experience (can include precepting in a clinical environment).
• Maintain own license, immunizations, CPR, and other requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in clinical theory and/or practical courses and clinical rotations related to assigned specialty program.
• Create a learning environment that facilitates student learning and achievement of expected program outcomes.
• Assess and evaluate student learning in the learning environment.
• Pursue continuous quality improvements in course.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, and clinical partners.
• Maintain compliance with agency and college policies.
