Saginaw Covenant Academy in Michigan is seeking a Full Time Spanish Teacher with Michigan teacher certification and endorsement in Spanish. The role entails delivering online/blended instruction to support at-risk youth in a year-round program.

The teacher differentiates instruction, uses technology to enhance learning, and maintains detailed student records. Applicants with an ESL endorsement are preferred and a valid driver’s license is requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Michigan teaching certification with endorsement in Spanish.
• ELL/ESL endorsement preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Deliver teacher-led instruction in an online/blended learning environment for enrichment, core curriculum and credit recovery.
• Differentiates instruction based on students' learning styles and needs.
• Uses computers and technology provided to assist students.
• Establishes standards for student behavior and appropriate internet usage.
• Maintains student records, progress reports, and lesson plans.
• Prepares and administers standardized tests as directed.
• Attends faculty meetings and school activities as required.
