Brandeis University’s Graduate Professional Studies (GPS) seeks an industry leader to teach Data Communication in Biotechnology (Capstone) for the Master of Science in Applied Biotechnology & Enterprise. The course focuses on storytelling with data, visualizations, scientific writing, and executive summaries via asynchronous online delivery.

Qualified experts will guide students through a capstone project, provide feedback, mentor peers, and maintain engagement across an 8-week online format.

Qualifications

Current employment or recent experience in biotech, pharma, or data science.
Ph.D., MBA or M.S. degree as applicable.
Experience presenting scientific or technical data to stakeholders.
Expertise in communication strategies and data visualization.

Responsibilities

Guide students through a capstone data communication project.
Deliver feedback to strengthen storytelling, structure, and visuals.
Lead group workshops and promote collaboration and growth.
Maintain the course site and ensure timely student engagement.
Mentor students on capstone projects tailored to industry or academia.
Facilitate peer review and iterative feedback on writing and visuals.
