The candidate will teach the Data Communication in Biotechnology (Capstone) course, focusing on storytelling with data, effective visuals, and strategic scientific writing for diverse audiences, with online delivery and asynchronous sessions.

Qualifications

• Required: Current employment or recent experience in the biotechnology, pharma, or data science sector
• Ph.D., M.B.A. or M.S.
• Experience presenting scientific or technical data to internal or external stakeholders
• Expertise in communication strategies and data visualization techniques

Responsibilities

• Guide students through a structured capstone communication project
• Deliver feedback that strengthens students’ storytelling, structure, and visuals
• Lead group workshops and encourage collaboration and professional growth
• Maintain the course site and facilitate timely student engagement
• Mentor students through development of capstone communication projects tailored to industry or academic audiences.
• Facilitate peer review and iterative feedback to refine writing, visuals, and delivery techniques.
