Job summary

Strategic Education, Inc. seeks a part-time Assistant Faculty to support online WRK100: Preparing for the Future of Work for the upcoming fall quarter.

The role is remote, 25 hours per week, with evening and weekend availability required. The successful candidate will assist with discussions, grading, student outreach, and tutoring under the supervision of lead instructors, leveraging strong communication and organization to foster student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business or related field is required
• Previous teaching experience required; online teaching experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage diverse learners

Responsibilities

• Analyze student activity in discussions and assessments and respond per training and lead instructor input
• Assist in managing student communications and outreach
• Escalate issues to the lead instructor
• Assist with grading and providing feedback
• Monitor engagement and suggest strategies to boost participation
• Provide tutoring, live sessions, or other student support as directed
• Develop supplementary materials and job aids as needed
• Other duties as assigned
