Brandeis University’s Rabb School invites an Adjunct Faculty member to teach RUCD 135: Technology Futures for the 2027 Spring 2 session. This 3-credit asynchronous online course runs 8 weeks as part of the MS in User-Centered Design and Masters Certificate in Technology Futures.

Qualified candidates provide a Master’s degree in relevant fields and 5+ years in Strategic Foresight, online teaching experience, and Moodle/H5P proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Futures Thinking, Technology Innovation, Strategic Foresight, or related field.
• Active employment in Futures Thinking or related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Strategic Foresight or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of online/asynchronous teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Course logistics and facilitation: rollout of content with weekly announcements.
• Instructor presence: live intro sessions and regular student consultations.
• Individual feedback and grading: rubric-based evaluations within weekly timeframe.
• Professional conduct and standards: adhere to university protocols and accessibility.
