Job summary

pec is seeking an instructor to teach within the Trident Learning Community (TLC). You will convey enthusiasm for the course content, provide timely posts in class discussions, and assess student work using rubrics with detailed feedback.

In this role, you will engage students regularly, welcome new learners, maintain a professional tone, respond within 24 hours during business days, and grade within 72 hours of submission, while supporting retention and faculty development efforts.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree required for graduate/undergraduate teaching.
• Experience teaching in a higher education setting.
• Ability to apply rubrics to feedback and grading.

Responsibilities

• Teach Students and assess their work using rubrics with detailed feedback.
• Engage students regularly and respond promptly to communications.
• Administer course duties and maintain professional, respectful tone across channels.
• Support student retention efforts and participate in faculty development activities.
