Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking Online Adjunct Faculty to teach online courses in an 8-week format, delivering engaging instruction and timely assessment. Courses are delivered online, aligning with College policies and FERPA requirements.

You will create a robust online learning environment, adapt lesson plans, and maintain accurate student records while collaborating with Faculty Leads to ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies for instruction.
• Meet faculty credentials as outlined in ASOM 7.1 for the area of instruction.
• Possesses an earned degree from a regionally accredited institution or related credential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned classes online in alignment with course objectives.
• Utilize technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Modify lesson plans and materials; maintain accurate records and grades.
• Engage with students proactively to support learning.
• Develop and implement teaching strategies for online learners.
• Interact professionally with students and colleagues; follow policies.
• Maintain a safe, quality online educational environment.
