Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks adjunct faculty to deliver in-person courses at the Fort Wayne campus. You will create a learning environment aligned with course objectives, use available technology, and assess student progress within FERPA guidelines.

Responsibilities include developing syllabi, maintaining records, applying inclusive teaching practices, and collaborating professionally with staff. This is a part-time, per-term appointment with renewal possible each semester.

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies and meet faculty credentials as outlined.
• Promotes diversity, inclusivity, and respectful engagement in the classroom.
• Earned baccalaureate or higher degree with teaching/professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned courses in accordance with College policy and objectives.
• Develop/maintain syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintain accurate student records and grades.
• Engage with students to enhance learning using appropriate classroom strategies.
• Comply with FERPA and college policies; teach in-person at Fort Wayne campus.
