American College of Education (ACE) is a virtual-first institution offering online programs and flexible adjunct roles. We seek educators who are self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented to support and advance student learning across teaching and administrative duties.

Adjuncts are paid per student per course, with rates of $50 per student for bachelor/master levels and $126 per student for doctorate level.

Qualifications

• Earned terminal degree in a field related to the department.
• Must hold an active Principal or Superintendent License.
• Must have K12 principal experience and a current principal license.
• 1+ year experience teaching and leading in formal educational settings; higher education preferred.
• Experience developing online/virtual professional relationships.
• Evidence of professional research or creative endeavors in the field.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with students in a professional manner.
• Facilitate a safe, productive learning environment.
• Respond promptly to student requests for information and inquiries.
• Oversee course quality and content delivery.
• Fingerprint course content with personal insights or professional knowledge.
• Monitor and provide feedback on assignments per policy.
• Synthesize and report student performance data over time.
• Support program policies and guidelines.
• Direct students to supplemental resources as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership in required meetings.
• Promote college vision, mission and culture.
• Provide leadership within one’s sphere of influence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curricula and industry trends.
• Support and promote research to ensure program quality.
