ACCEL Schools is seeking online teachers in Ohio to support OHDELA, a K-12 online school, delivering rigorous core instruction virtually with occasional in-person state testing.

Applicants must hold an Ohio teaching license, be comfortable teaching in a growth-focused coaching environment, and be prepared to travel for state testing and student events. The role offers a tiered salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ teaching experience.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in core content areas.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student needs.
• Complete course setup for each course within the LMS.
• Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide feedback daily.
• Track and maintain contact with each student.
• Collaborate with the Principal to deliver Progress Reports of Students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Travel annually to support in-person state testing.
