We are seeking a OneStream Solution Architect/Technologist for our client, who is a global leader in the transportation and industrial technology sector, providing innovative equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value‑added services that support critical infrastructure across freight transportation, transit, logistics, industrial, and related markets. The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a highly experienced OneStream Solution Architect / Technologist to serve as the organization’s internal OneStream authority, trusted finance technology advisor, and strategic partner to Finance and IT leadership.
The organization successfully implemented OneStream for core financial consolidation and account reconciliation processes and is now focused on expanding the platform’s capabilities across forecasting, budgeting, planning, reporting, analytics, automation, and broader finance transformation initiatives.
This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future direction of OneStream across a complex global enterprise. The successful candidate will help define the platform roadmap, identify new business capabilities, reduce reliance on external consulting resources, and drive greater value from the organization’s OneStream investment.
This position is ideal for a seasoned OneStream Architect, Lead Consultant, Principal Consultant, Product Owner, or Finance Systems Leader who enjoys operating at the intersection of business strategy, finance transformation, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the organization’s primary OneStream subject matter expert and strategic advisor.
- Partner closely with Finance leadership, FP&A teams, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and platform expansion.
- Develop and own the long‑term roadmap for OneStream capabilities and enhancements.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions that support budgeting, forecasting, planning, management reporting, analytics, automation, and emerging AI‑enabled capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs, technical specifications, implementation plans, and architecture recommendations.
- Lead solution architecture discussions and provide guidance on best practices, platform capabilities, and future‑state design.
- Collaborate with existing OneStream developers, administrators, and technical teams to deliver business solutions.
- Design and support integrations between OneStream and ERP, financial, and enterprise systems.
- Drive adoption of advanced OneStream functionality including dashboards, business rules, workflows, reporting, and Marketplace solutions.
- Support M&A integration initiatives and help ensure scalable financial systems architecture.
- Provide governance, controls, security, and compliance support when needed.
- Serve as a trusted advisor capable of influencing stakeholders and helping Finance leaders understand the full potential of the platform.
- Maintain the ability to be hands‑on when necessary, providing guidance, troubleshooting, configuration support, and technical expertise.

- Help the organization maximize its investment in OneStream while reducing dependence on external consulting support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting OneStream, EPM, CPM, finance technology, or enterprise financial systems.
- Strong hands‑on experience with OneStream architecture, configuration, reporting, workflows, metadata, security, dashboards, business rules, and integrations.
- Experience supporting financial consolidation, close, planning, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and management reporting processes.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical and scalable technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise financial systems architecture, governance, controls, integrations, and data management.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with executives, finance leaders, technical teams, and business partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a OneStream Architect, Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, Principal Consultant, Product Owner, Finance Systems Lead, or similar role.
- OneStream certification(s).
- Experience expanding OneStream beyond consolidation into planning, forecasting, reporting, analytics, and automation.
- Experience with OneStream MarketPlace solutions, business rules, custom development, dashboards, and advanced calculations.
- SOX, audit, controls, security, and governance experience.
- Experience in large, global, multi‑entity, and multi‑currency organizations.
- Manufacturing, industrial, transportation, or complex enterprise industry experience preferred.
