Job summary

Sony Music Entertainment seeks a OneStream Application Administrator / Support Analyst to own and optimize the OneStream compensation and payroll integration platform. This role collaborates with Finance, Payroll, HR, and SAP support teams to ensure stability and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has OneStream experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of financial processes to support monthly payroll and data loads in a global environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of hands-on OneStream administration, support, troubleshooting, or development experience.
• Familiarity with OneStream business rules and VB.NET.
• Working knowledge of SQL and troubleshooting data/integration issues.
• Understanding of financial systems concepts including G/L, cost centers, company codes, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Strong communicator who collaborates with technical teams, stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator and support contact for the OneStream application, including user access, security, and configuration management.
• Respond to questions, resolve issues, and provide guidance on system functionality.
• Troubleshoot and triage production issues across OneStream, SAP, integrations, master data, or user processes.
• Manage monthly operational processes, data loads, payroll-related processes, and system monitoring.
• Maintain and enhance financial reports, calculations, business rules, and data processing workflows.
• Coordinate with Finance, Payroll, HR, SAP teams and external partners to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials.

Sony Music is seeking a OneStream Application Administrator / Support Analyst to support and enhance our OneStream compensation and payroll integration platform. This role will serve as the primary operational owner of the OneStream environment, providing application administration, user support, troubleshooting, security administration, reporting support, and issue triage.

The ideal candidate will possess practical OneStream experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and an understanding of financial systems and business processes. The role will work closely with Finance, Payroll, HR, SAP support teams, and external implementation partners to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the OneStream application.

What you'll do:

• Serve as the primary administrator and support contact for the OneStream application, including user access, security, and configuration management. Support business users by responding to questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on system functionality.
• Troubleshoot and triage production issues, building the skillset to determine whether problems originate in OneStream, SAP, integrations, master data, or user processes.
• Manage and support monthly operational processes, data loads, payroll-related processes, and system monitoring activities.
• Maintain and enhance financial reports, calculations, business rules, and data processing workflows.
• Coordinate with Finance, Payroll, HR, SAP teams, and external support partners to resolve application and integration issues.
• Create and maintain documentation, user guides, training materials, and operational procedures.

Who you are:

• 1-3+ years of hands‑on OneStream administration, support, troubleshooting, or development experience. Familiarity with OneStream business rules and a working knowledge of VB.NET.
• Ability to investigate application issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions across multiple teams.
• Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to troubleshoot data and integration‑related issues.
• Understanding of financial systems concepts, including general ledger, cost centers, company codes, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors—delivering excellent customer service in a production environment, along with clear documentation and knowledge‑sharing.
