The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring high-quality Food and Beverage service, while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead costs. He/she aims to continually improve Food and Beverage sales revenues beyond budget. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as necessary to complete their responsibilities (OEM associates are required to work a minimum of 47.5 hours per week).
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required. High School diploma or equivalent required.
- College coursework in related field helpful.
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately.
- Proactive in job performance, anticipating needs.
- Ability to work under stress and maintain composure.
- Problem-solving skills, including prevention and resolution.
- Ability to assimilate complex information and adapt accordingly.

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, friendly, courteous service to guests and employees.
- Maintain regular attendance as per Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Comply with all hotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
- Understand the organization and function of each hotel department.
- Assist in managing food and beverage costs.
- Communicate effectively with staff and motivate team members.
- Monitor cash overages and shortages.
- Maintain service standards using quality control tools.
- Address accidents, problems, or guest complaints promptly.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures and equipment locations.
- Implement consistent disciplinary actions.
- Understand and operate the P.O.S. system.
- Ensure staff are attentive, helpful, and courteous.
- Assist in wage and productivity reporting.
- Help prepare staff schedules and manage inventories.
- Support promotional activities and departmental meetings.
- Encourage sales efforts among staff.
- Participate in employee performance evaluations.
- Support food quality and presentation standards.
- Attend departmental meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
