KIPP DC Public Schools is seeking a Secondary Teaching Fellow (SY 2026-27) for a one-year, on-site role in a DC middle or high school. The Fellow will support instructional delivery, classroom management, and differentiation while gaining mentorship and hands-on experience toward a teaching career, starting Summer 2026.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree by June 2026 and a commitment to equity for all students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree by June 2026, all majors accepted.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Belief that all students deserve high-quality education.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with instruction, classroom culture, and admin duties.
• Teach developmentally appropriate content in small and whole groups.
• Track, analyze, and use data to drive teaching and instruction.
• Support additional classrooms and cover classes as needed.
