Job summary

ISD 622 in Minnesota seeks a Long Term Sub Speech Pathologist for a one-year assignment. This 1.0 FTE position involves direct service, IEP coordination, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Licensed MN Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Master's degree or equivalent in SLP.
• Experience with students with communication disorders.
• Knowledge of special education due process procedures.
• Experience working with school-age students.
• Experience collaborating on a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to due process guidelines and assist in eligibility decisions.
• Serve as case manager by developing IEPs and coordinating meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality per FERPA/HIPAA and data privacy rules.
• Provide direct instruction to remediate communication disorders and support IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general educators to plan language goals within the curriculum.
• Provide feedback to and supervise paraprofessionals implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor and report student progress data.
• Advocate for needs of children with communication disorders.
