Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a Nursing Float observer for full-time night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am). The role involves sitting with and watching the patient to promote safety and collaborating with the RN on non-nursing tasks within your scope of training.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and healthcare exposure; current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire is required and must be maintained.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
• BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Observe the patient and surrounding environment to promote safety.
• Assist the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within scope of training.
