Job summary

Virtua Health in Burlington, NJ is seeking a One-to-One Observer to provide constant one-to-one observation of patients, ensure a safe environment, and support the healthcare team.

This part-time role covers the 3rd shift (United States of America), with about 12 hours per week. You will communicate changes to the RN, assist in orientation of staff, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides continuous one-to-one observation to a patient, ensuring a safe, calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies changes in patient status and communicates to the RN.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
