Elk Hill Farm, Inc. is seeking a dedicated One-to-One Aide to support students with special needs in a structured educational environment. You will implement behavioral-emotional strategies and collaborate with educators to promote positive development.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and proactive engagement with families and staff. We value experience with youth, CPR/First Aid, and Naloxone readiness, along with a commitment to cultural sensitivity and open communication within a

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with students or youth with diverse backgrounds including ED, SLD, OHI, Autism and/or ID preferred.
• Must have up-to-date certification in the facility’s Behavior Management Program and ability to apply skills daily.
• Must have up-to-date CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and good driving record – preferred.
• Maintain REVIVE! Naloxone training certification and be willing to administer Naloxone if needed.

Mansioni

• Teach, model and coach client in effective behavioral-emotional strategies.
• Manage student escalation and crises per Behavior Management Program.
• Maintain supervision standards and monitor hallway activity.
• Assist in problem-solving/conflict resolution with students.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and Dean of Students on student behavior.
• Determine and implement consequences with Dean of Students or Head of School.
• Provide classroom assistance when needed and cover staff as required.
• Build positive relationships with students while maintaining boundaries.
• Demonstrate high professional standards with students, families, staff, and placement agency personnel.
• Facilitate recreational activities.
• Complete data collection and reporting for student behavior on time.
• Complete student monthly reports professionally.
• Complete required trainings by Head of School or Dean of Students on time.
• Work to improve total program quality and promote openness and honesty.
