Job summary

PediCare Nursing Agency in Long Beach, MS is seeking an experienced RN to be the primary day-shift nurse for a 14-month-old pediatric patient at home. The role offers three weekday shifts (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) with flexibility in days and shift length.

This position provides consistent one-on-one home nursing care without nights or weekends. The RN will manage G-tube feedings, medications, ongoing assessments, and age-appropriate care while coordinating with the family and clinical team for a stable

Qualifications

• Active Mississippi RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current TB screening within the past 12 months.
• Ability to meet state background screening requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Pediatric, private duty, seizure, or G-tube experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care.
• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition.
• Maintain seizure precautions and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
• Administer G-tube feedings, medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions.
• Assist with activities of daily living and age-appropriate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team.
• Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs.
