Job summary

Qualifications

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provides dedicated one-on-one support to student(s) with mild to moderate disabilities, assisting with academic tasks and behavior management.
• Communicates with parents for the purpose of scheduling meetings and taking messages for special education teachers.
• Assists in maintaining students' files/records for documentation and reliability of information.
• Monitors individual students in classrooms and school settings to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
• Adapts classroom work under the direction of the teacher to support lesson plans.
