Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate.
• Must complete the district substitute/Board of Education approval prior to starting.
• Must meet state post-retirement employment rules (if applicable): WW-P retirees require 180 days separation; other NJ retirees require 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home instruction aligned with district curriculum standards and coursework goals.
• Coordinate with district staff and subject-area teachers to obtain curriculum materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Maintain precise records of instructional hours, student attendance, and academic progress.
• Submit required home instruction logs and paperwork in a timely manner.
