Job summary

West Windsor - Plainsboro Regional School District is seeking a Home Instruction Teacher to provide direct, one-on-one in-person instruction to an out-of-school student under homebound status.

The position is part-time / hourly with a contractual rate of $50.00 per hour. Applicants should hold a valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate and complete district approval processes prior to starting; starting date is immediate.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate.
• Successful completion of the district substitute/Board of Education approval process prior to beginning the assignment.
• Compliance with state post-retirement employment rules (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver home instruction aligned with district curriculum standards and coursework goals.
• Coordinate with district staff and subject-area teachers to obtain curriculum materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Maintain precise records of instructional hours, student attendance, and academic progress.
• Submit required home instruction logs and paperwork in a timely manner.
