Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors through Brookdale at Home. Full-time, part-time, and PRN options are available with same-day interviews and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include non-medical care, dressing, bathing, grooming, transfers, housekeeping, and transportation assistance, with a focus on personalized care plans and client dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proof of completing an approved Home Health Aide program is required.
• Six months experience in working independently with home care clients in the general public in their own personal homes providing healthcare/homecare services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to external Brookdale at Home clients, living outside the walls of a Brookdale Senior Housing Community.
• Assists in activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and meals.
• Assists with homemaker tasks such as laundry, shopping, light housekeeping, meals.
• Follows assignment tasks and notifies supervisor of any deviations.
• Documents care in the client’s clinical record and maintains confidentiality.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment; follows infection control and safety guidelines.
