Step Forward ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children using evidence-based ABA strategies. You will help children gain independent skills, social abilities, and confidence in a supportive home and community setting.

Qualified candidates typically hold a high school diploma or GED, with RBT certification preferred. The role requires travel to in-home environments, reliable transportation, and a commitment to data-driven progress notes and collaboration with families and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a National Criminal Background check.
• RBT Certification (preferred).
• Complete RBT certification process within 30 days of employment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to engage with children physically, lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel and work in-home settings.
• Childcare or related experience preferred.
• Direct support or paraprofessional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using ABA techniques.
• Teach communication and social skills to promote independence.
• Implement and monitor behavior plans and adjust strategies.
• Restructure environments to reduce challenges and promote positive outcomes.
• Collect data and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with analysts, families, and peers to support goals.
• Complete daily progress notes and documentation.
