The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Chelsea, a world-leading cancer centre, is seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to join Private Care Granard House 1 Ward on a 12-month maternity cover.

You will support registered nurses in delivering safe, compassionate care to patients undergoing complex cancer treatments and surgical procedures, with a focus on patient-centred care in a fast-paced specialist environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an acute hospital setting is essential.
• Experience in oncology, surgical care or cancer services is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a caring, professional attitude.

Responsabilités

• Assist registered nurses in providing safe, compassionate and effective care.
• Support the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care for patients undergoing cancer treatments and surgical procedures.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and report abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Measure and record patients’ height and weight.
• Maintain a safe, clean and pleasant environment for all patients.
