Qualifications

• Experience assisting with oncology examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans.
• Safely prepare, handle, and dispose of chemotherapeutic agents following protocols.
• Monitor chemotherapy patients for adverse reactions and report concerns promptly.
• Provide supportive oncology care including pain management and nutrition.
• Accurately calculate drug dosages and infusion rates under veterinary direction.
• Maintain detailed medical records in the hospital EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with oncology examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans.
• Safely prepare, handle, administer, and dispose of chemotherapeutic agents.
• Monitor patients receiving chemotherapy for adverse reactions and report concerns.
